-Authorize and maintain control on purchase orders and work order.
-Review financial statements as they relate to all housing budgets and ensure availability of of necessary
Funds, and recommend appropriate adjustments.
-Ensure that all accounts are paid in full and on time and that all expenditures are properly recorded and authorized.
-Maintain a financial filing system and records.
-Maintain control on rent receipts and cheques.
-Ensure that rents and housing revenue is accurately recorded and deposited upon collection.
-Responsible for enforcing the rental conditions for all tenants.
-Ensure good financial procedures and controls
-Ensure vacant units are repaired properly, and quickly to enable occupancy at the earliest possible date.
-Ensure all health and safety standards are met and maintained.
-Maintain a database on existing units.
-Provides tenants and homeowners with information on a variety of health safety, maintenance, repairs, and preventive Issues.
-Prepare preventive repair schedules to prolong unit life expectancy.
-Annually inspect all First Nations rental units to ensure adequate maintenance is being provided, and to identify future maintenance requirements.
-Enforcing all tenant agreements and explaining agreement responsibilities.
